How we can help.

Our senior vets, Alex Sergeant and Vicky Jux, have been with the practice for many years are supported by our skilled veterinary team:
Rebecca Fellows, Bridey Shawyer, Kirsty Barnard and Archie Moffat.

Together, we cater to all types of horses, ranging from international competition horses and race horses to children’s ponies and pleasure horses.

The immense experience within our caring team, coupled with our excellent mobile facilities, makes us well equipped to deliver the personal, high quality care your horses deserve, across routine performance work, emergency callouts, diagnostics and more.

Our lovely office team, managed by Jayne Bonner, includes Sue Grace, Tanya Lane, Jo Hopwood, Izzy Parker and Rebecca Reilly. They are an integral part of our team, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, while ensuring the smooth running of the practice.

Our modern facilities.

As a long running practice, we’ve had many years to learn about our clients and what they want from their vets.

In order to provide the highest standards of veterinary care at your yard, we have invested in modern, high quality mobile diagnostic equipment.

Our portable digital x-ray systems, ultrasound scanners, respiratory endoscopes and gastroscope allow us to examine and diagnose your horse at your own yard, whenever feasible.

Rather than providing inpatient facilities, we also prefer to treat horses in their own familiar surroundings whenever possible.

In addition to this, we have a large network of specialist vets to whom we can refer those cases that may require advanced, hospital-based diagnostics or surgical intervention.

Round-the-clock emergency support.

We are proud to run our own 24-hour ambulatory emergency service for horse owners across Hampshire.

In an emergency, please contact us on 01962 779111, and the recorded message will give you the contact details for the on-call veterinary surgeon.

Our charge for travelling is calculated according to geographic bands and time of day.

An out of hours charge applies at the weekend and outside of normal office hours. A night charge also applies between 11 pm and 5 am.

Examination charges are in addition to the travelling charge and are calculated according to the amount of time spent.
